The iOS 10, which was released back in last September, has done wonders with its innovative features and the user-friendly interface. And now, after the massive success of the iOS 10, fans as well as the tech pundits are eagerly waiting for the iOS 11 to roll out. So now the question arises, when will the iOS 11 be released? If we believe the recent rumors, the US-based tech giant is all set to unveil the upcoming operating system during the 28th annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) which is going take place on 5th of June in San Jose. Apple announced the iOS 10 during the same annual convention of the company and they are going to maintain the same tradition this time too. The iOS 11 will be released in September when the Cupertino-based company will introduce the brand new iPhone. So before the iOS 11 release, let’s check out the probable new features of iOS 11.
Apple continuously updates Siri, the personal voice assistant, in every iteration. And this time too, it will not be an exception. In iOS 11, Apple has allowed Siri to take and allow orders from the third-party app developers. So in the forthcoming iOS 11, Siri is compatible with apps social networking like WeChat, WhatsApp and Slack, cab ride services like Uber, Lyft and photo apps like Shutterfly and Pinterest. Moreover Siri can control the fitness apps like Runtastic, MapMyRun or RunKeeper.
Secured Apple Pay
All the premium smartphone making services are busy in either launching their mobile payment service or upgrading them. Apple Pay, the exclusive mobile payment service of the company has already been very famous since it has been integrated into the operating system and now the tech giant is looking to improve it. Security is the biggest concern of all the mobile payment systems and Apple pay users are complaining about this matter for a few months. So to better the security measure, Apple is going to use the tokenization technique which will store all the credit card information in an encrypted form which is almost impossible to hack.
Group Chat on FaceTime
FaceTime is the most famous application among the iPhone users and Apple is going to incorporate the biggest change in this video chatting application in the upcoming iOS 11. According to the recent reports, Apple is all set to bring the group video calling facility in the FaceTime which was a long-time demand of all the iPhone users. With this newly included feature, you can now add up to five people in your FaceTime video call and you will be able to make FaceTime group chat with ease.
Omission of 32-bit apps
The US-based tech giant is planning to omit the support for the 32-bit apps. If you try to open a 32-bit application on the latest iOS 10.3 beta, you will notice a pop-up message which states, “the app needs to be updated. This app will not work with future versions of iOS. The developer of this app needs to update it to improve its compatibility.” So it is confirmed that iOS 11 will not support the 32-bit apps.
