When I started saying that Facebook was not the right place for businesses to promote themselves, many people laughed at me.
Now, almost four years later, the jibe is over. Most brands have stopped smiling because they are finally realizing that Facebook has never been about them in the first place. It has always been about people and their own interests.
This article sumps up exactly what is wrong with the social network. It says that Pages’ updates are seen by 16% of fans, but it is an average. Actually, a lot of business owners are more in the lower 10%.
