I have always loved Abstract Art, for much of my career as an Artist I have mostly worked representational. Then, I remember years ago in Art History I was introduced to Artists such as Paul Klee, Mark Rothko and Cy Twombly. A few years later I started experimenting with Abstract paintings in art class. I was completely liberated!

You see in Abstract Art the Artist is not only working with the materials. He or she is tapping into their inner being and deepest feelings. Each stroke has an origin, unique and different.  Each color manifested from within and translated. I believe that’s why so many people love and appreciate Abstract Art. The Artist has the ability to transfer part of their spirit to the viewer. The possibilities are endless, so when you read this article and you love Abstract Art like I do, you realize it never left.
