“Into the Wild” was a 1996 nonfiction book that was later adapted into a movie in 2007. The book was written by Jon Krakauer and it was an expansion of a 9000 word article Krakauer had previously written. It was about Chris McCandless and his journey into the Alaskan wilderness. Now 21 years after the discovery of his body Krakauer revisits how McCandless died alone in the woods after dispute for critics about his book.
