In 2013, almost every company is doing content marketing. But the problem with things becoming mainstream is that they tend to be used in a very mediocre way.
Joe Pulizzi shares some great food for thought in his article. According to him, there are three reasons why branded content is awful:
– No strategy
– No focus
– No accountability
I will add another one: Not taking the time to know your audience and gather feedback.
