I do not want to start any controversy here with this article. Let me just say that right off the bat. I am not a proponent any which way on this NSA watchdog stuff, and don’t care to engage in a debate. We all have our own opinions.

The honest truth? Everything on the internet is public. Can we take steps to become more private so the average internet user can’t find certain things about us, yes of course. For anyone to assume that the internet is private including emails, pictures, blogs, etc, needs to take a second look.

I like to think of the internet as one big social sphere. What you put out is what your going to get back. I used to teach high school students, and told them repeatedly that even though your Facebook is private, think about what your going to post as it may come back to bite you. This applies to adults as well. Think about what you are posting, or sending out into the sphere.

Internet=Public. Google is part of the internet. Therefore, Google= Public!
