Some things never change. If you’re a girl, and you’ve lived…well…ever….chances are you love shoes. Because we have some major shoe news right around the corner (we promise!), we decided to look back at some styles that inspired serious devotion in decades past. Mod Culture drove  fashion  in the ’60s, and secured a place in footwear history for the square toe, shorter heel and Go Go Boot. Studio 54 reigned supreme in the ’70s, which in turn brought platform sandals and roller skates into the spotlight  disco light. New Year’s Eve at Studio 54 once involved dumping FOUR TONS of glitter on the floor, which owner Ian Schrager described as like ‘standing on stardust.’ Sounds like heaven, right?
