Oh, now this is exciting. Twitter is in the process of rolling out universal search results! What does this mean? It means Twitter got way cooler.

Just kidding. This means that whenever you do a search on Twitter, now you will see People and Photos that match or are close to your search. You will get the three top tweets for that particular search.

Also, Twitter has made your recent searches easier to find, in case you forget what you had been searching for. (Like me.) Now this search will also bring up matching accounts, if you are not already following them.

In a nutshell, Twitter is catching up to what Google already does, and what Facebook is implementing with Graph Search! Welcome aboard Twitter!
