The author of this article, Juan Felix, is a strong advocate of relationship marketing. When businesses engage with their current and potential clients, they develop a powerful bond. As well, the resulting feelings of trust benefits both sides during the buying process.

Felix goes on to tell about an online interview he recently watched with Bryan Elliott and Seth Godin and how Godin encourages marketers to think more like artists….to be unique and take risks. Bryan and Seth were talking about “why business leaders should think like artists”. The explanation Seth gave for using the word “artist” relates directly to a lot of his work; from “Purple Cow” unto “Poke the Box”. With the word “artist” Seth invites business leaders to get out of their comfort zone and embrace vulnerability. Dare to be different, dare to take calculated risks. Dare to be a purple cow!
