Many of the major social media platforms have made significant updates recently – if you blinked, you may have missed them! How are you coping with the changes? This is a post I recently wrote for Doina Oncel’s site where I touch on the enhancements to Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest. Changes usually don’t bother me…especially when they are for the better.

 

 

Yesterday, my family and I drove to a nearby town to see friends and enjoy dinner with them. Their house is in the town beside the one where I worked for over 5 years, so the drive was familiar to me – it was a long commute which I endured without (much) complaining at the time. My perspective is a lot different now that I have been working at home for over two months now! A 40-minute drive, one way? What a time-waster that was! But driving the distance to visit good friends we only see occasionally was well worth the trip.
