A new report published by Adobe confirms that web video content is one of the keys to unlocking the power of social media. The Adobe Digital Index Team looked at 19.6 Billion video stats across media websites, and found video is continuing to grow at an astonishing rate: mobile video views alone increased by 300% in 2012. There has been a 50% increase in video streams since 2011, and video consumption increased by 13% in the final quarter of 2012 alone. Facebook users (who dominate the social referrals with a 75% share of the market) were TWICE as likely to comment, like or share content that included video.
