Laura Spencer makes my Monday! She has written another great article, this time on email mistakes no one should make.

How many of you use email marketing for your business? I know some companies love to use it, and other companies feel like it drives their customers crazy.

So i won’t keep you from this amazing article. Some of my favorite email mistakes are:

1. Writing in the heat of the moment: Oh my goodness this is a bad one!
2. No contact information-I have made this mistake, but luckily my current boss let it slide. Oops.
3. Getting the name wrong- Always check to make sure you are getting the correct names in the “To” field.
4. Not considering mobile devices-More and more of your customer base is coming from mobile phones, you have to use email marketing that is geared towards mobile devices.

Now what advice do you have for email marketing? Don’t be shy, we all make mistakes! *grin*
