This post is actually a result of a message we received on our Facebook page, which went something like this. Just post my page on the wall huh? I have many, I will do my first test to see if you curate www.kevinspidel.com

Now you should notice to the right something special we are offering on Internet Billboards. Step 1 Fan Us, Step 2 Post your website on our wall. Step 3. We will curate your site. Sounds simple right. Well, I may need to put a disclaimer depending on how popular this little marketing giveaway gets, that a site meets a certain set of criteria minimum, but right now it’s game on. I wanted to use this as a quick case study, and in my opinion an awesome way to negotiate and create trust and whatnot. What do I mean you ask?

Kevin missed step 1. Instead of calling him on it, I decided to do the better thing and in the interest of good faith curate his post and then ask him for the fan page like.  If you don’t know it by now, “Content is the new Advertising” for a variety of reasons. People are not clicking on banner ads, they have long since learned to block them out. So if you produce great content, post a clip on Internet Billboards and you can create an ad that works.

Here is his post.

So I am in the middle of a deep dive in studying traffic trends of one of our national blogs. It is total geek culture, which makes me just love this project. They have a very passionate, awesome community who I am getting to know well. I thought I would share some of this nerd gold here in a top 10 list.

Here are the top 10 articles that harnessed the most traffic (ever) from Topless Robot.

Geeks rule. I thought you might like this collection… Which one is your favorite?
