Keyword targeting coming for Twitter users! This means that brands and social marketing teams can now plan ads based on words that are inside of tweets. The tests they used for this proved that customers were more likely to engaged with a promoted post, over a regular tweet from the company.
I do not know how I feel about this. As a social marketer I can think of a million ideas to go with this, and how to target different people in different areas. As a person who receives Tweets, I am a little up in the air about this. As always, it just means I need to see this in action before making my final decision.
