Google Analytics Dashboard Gets Real Time Widgets
Share

I know I am tad excited by this as I get to work more and more with Google Analytics. Marketing Land takes us through 4 new widgets that have been released today. Let us not forget to mention that this is the first time real time data has been made possible in a dashboard widget. (Gotta love Google)

So how do you set up a Real Time Widget?

  1. Click +Add Widget in the dashboard
  2. Now you can select Counter, Timeline, GeoMap, or Table for results.
  3. Save the Widget and start pulling the Real Time information in!

I have quite a few clients who need to see what this is doing for me NOW. So this will be a great feature to show to them, and show how social media can impact data from hour to hour, or minute to minute!

Will you be using a Real Time Widget? What do you think about this new technology?
