8 Reasons to have Authority on Google+
Share

I ran across this great article today from jeffalytics.com on why it is SO important to establish Authority on Google+. I think some people are still really afraid to jump into Google+, and this article give 8 great reasons why it is so important to be visible in Google.

In this article Jeff did a case study of  some websites with fixed and variable parameters of their rankings on Google+. You will have to read the whole case study to see what he found but here are a few points that I loved!

1. Google+ has an immediate impact on SEO results.
2. Yahoo apparently scrapes public Google+Data
3. Google Authorship alone does not appear to be a ranking factor.

Bottom line, Google+ has huge advantages  even if you are just looking for a boost in SEO rankings. Wade in slowly, but take use of what Google can provide for your company!
