Here is a great SlideShare piece by Slide Comet, @slidecomet, on creating fabulous compelling, influential presentations. I really like all of the terrific advice and how-tos here about slide layouts, visuals, text, amount of information to include, and how to put it all together. I particularly like the examples shared. It really is a wonderful resource. If you follow the tips here you will definitely avoid “Death by PowerPoint”!

Now I will say I am not a fan of the story structure they use in this piece. It is too simplified and won’t work very well. So ignore that and follow Nancy Duarte’s structure that you can find here:

Have fun creating a zippy and compelling presentation and happy biz storytelling!
