I don’t know about you, but my first foray into social media was emails. I was 19 at the time.
When I decided to teach my introduction to social media last year, I did not expect to find out that the concept is much older than many of us would think.
This leads me to ask you the following question: Do you know when social media was born? 1995? 1987? 2004?
Think again! The field did not have a name yet. It would take about 19 years for some people to venture a definition.
