It may be unfair of me to write a post about spring for Doina’s blog…I just checked the weather online for Toronto and was actually surprised to see the temperature is only in the upper 20’s and it is lightly snowing. Of course, Torontonians are most likely acclimated to such weather this time of year. I live near Dallas, Texas, where we enjoyed sunshine and temperatures in the low 80’s today. The calendar still says “winter,” but it certainly feels like spring! Either way, spring will happen on the same day – March 20th – in both Toronto and Dallas.

Spring means different things for different people. It can be a verb – to jump or rise suddenly. Or it can be more descriptive – a time of renewal and fresh starts. Many take on the seasonal task known as “spring cleaning,” for their homes or their lives. Going through your clutter and reorganizing things – or even throwing stuff out – is something that is necessary, but may not always be easy to do.

I have learned recently that it is just as important to sort through and clean up our social media platforms. It may be a good time for “spring cleaning” your Twitter account(s), especially if your streams have gotten out of control.
