About Catch The Film Curation Film Community
Share

Catch The Film is a unique community of film curators and filmmakers presenting quirky, fun and immersive films and videos to viewers and fans. Each group (curators, filmmakers, fans) brings different but equally important tangibles to the other groups. The best filmmakers, including directors, video producers, production houses and small studios, are great storytellers.

The best curators are great at finding, organizing, and contextualizing great stories. The best viewers and fans are great at connecting deeply with quirky, fun and immersive films and videos.

“This 3-part formula works well.” according to Steve Paul, a principal at Catch The Film and 4thWeb, a digital agency that generated over 1.3 billion branded content views for their clients over the last few years. “And Catch The Film intends to be the premiere video site to help launch this new film collaborative curation model and ecosystem for the web”, continues Paul.

Catch The Film is a very different experience than other video sites. It’s not totally “open” like YouTube and Vimeo, but it’s not totally “closed” either, like studios or distributors.

We approve all curator and filmmaker accounts to help insure that we always have a high-quality group of “human filters” focused on presenting quirky, fun and immersive films and videos.

This collaborative and highly-dynamic curation model is unique for a video site. Read on to hear how curators and filmmakers benefit from Catch The Film. Otherwise, if you like what you see and hear so far, go ahead and register for an account.

The registration process is simple and quick: show us your stuff or tell us about yourself or company … and the content that you’ve created or curated … or would like to. Curators and filmmakers accounts have exactly the same features.
