March is a very “springy” month. This weekend, on March 10th, we will see the time change in North America as we “spring forward” by one hour.  On March 20th, we spring forward to a new season…spring! It seems like March is appropriately named with all this forward momentum.

March also marks the end of the first quarter for businesses who run their fiscal year by the calendar. Lead generation is certainly one of the primary factors contributing to a successful quarter-end. Some businesses have taken the plunge into inbound marketing over the past year or so. Companies that have stayed the course with inbound marketing strategies recognize it takes a good deal of patience and persistence to achieve inbound lead generation success. Positive results found in the form of increased numbers and quality of leads, for example, have made it worthwhile to them. You might say the companies seeing success now will continue to spring forward with inbound lead generation into the second quarter of the year – and beyond. According to recent survey data published by HubSpot, a whopping 92.7% of companies using inbound marketing saw their  lead generation increase and 93% saw increased traffic to their website.
