networking

Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest are the usual suspects when it comes to social media.

But what happens when you are not too sure about your audience? It would be nice to be where they hang out without the clutter and where you have a better chance of being seen, right?

So, why not join small and niche social media sites or even forums?

“[The] problem with the biggest social networking sites [is that] participating is just the price of admission, and they’re so widespread that they hardly matter in terms of differentiation or finding the people you really want to be working with.

Happily, there are other options.”
