I’ve shared a lot of information on becoming a brand influencer and how you can work with Klout, PeerIndex, Kred and Brandify to monitor your influence across the internet.

Why would you want to measure your online influence? Because brands are looking to reach your tribe, and you can cash in on that.  Sometimes that’s through an affiliate relationship and sometimes it’s through product review. You might negotiation sponsorships or trade show opportunities. You’re limited by your imagination.

So how do you get ready to be an influencer. It starts with your blog, and I hope it’s a WordPress blog. In this article, Setting Up Your Blog to Work With Brands, by Michelle McGraw, you’ll discover how you can buff our your blogs and get ready to attract those brands looking to connect with your readers.

In this article, 28 Brilliant Bloggers Talk About Working With Brands by Allison, you’ll have 28 different bloggers sharing how you can work with brands, once your site is ready.

So go over to the sites I mentioned above and start monitoring your influence. I’ve found that a lot of the measuring involves Twitter. Your job is to engage others online so your influence spreads. Now’s the time. Get started!!
