Let’s face it – social media is a large part of our modern society. We leave our digital footprints almost everywhere – even with things we are doing offline. When we do something embarrassing, there is always the possibility of a video of the occurrence ending up on YouTube for the world to see. I have recently seen where proud parents-to-be have posted ultrasound pictures of their unborn babies on Facebook. This leads me to believe these kids will *never* have a private moment in their entire lives at this rate! With all the potential negatives though, social media does have at least one positive appeal – it provides introverts with a way to express themselves and to be “heard” at last. I have seen firsthand how social media provides a voice for introverts.
