Lead Generation Trends and Truths

leadgentrendsThe January theme for Social Solutions Collective is “Out with the…, In with the…” I should soon be able to say, “Out with 2012 and in with 2013,” but I still have to deliberately remind myself to write “2013″ on my documents! However, my head really is in 2013 and I am enjoying the year so far. I notice there are still some “Best of 2012″ and “Predictions for 2013″ blog posts floating around. This post will not be one of those…well, not exactly. Several lead generation trends started and/or took off in 2012. These trends are worth mentioning since they will be relevant into 2013 – and maybe beyond. Other trends will fall victim to the “shiny object syndrome,” meaning they may be popular – but only for a short time. Here is my list of current lead generation trends and truths:
