About Pinning Your Own Content: Are You Doing It?
Share

While on Pinterest today and doing some online research for this and another article I am writing about the platform, I came across quite lot of Pinterest business accounts with a minimal number of pins and practically empty boards.

This got me thinking…

Besides being busy business owners and trying to ‘do’ social media on the sly, do these businesses not put out any content? My question was; ‘do these businesses have branded images on Facebook, do they write blogs, have a banner, have merchandise, eBooks, videos?’ I think they do, but the content sure wasn’t easily accessible and visible via Pinterest.

To test my theory and get some answers, I followed a few links from Pinterest to websites, Facebook Pages and Twitter accounts and, indeed, I saw lots of branded content.  So what’s going on?
