Social Media is for Branding, not Selling

Every so often as a content curator I read an article where there is a real wow factor. As in I am blown away by the writers insight, knowledge and expertise into their subject matter.

As a curator I am always looking to find and present you with the creme de le creme of content, but often much of the great content I curate is reporting, or commentary, where the author is presenting a compelling yet informative or entertaining piece. I am not saying I don’t enjoy curating and sharing these pieces, I am simply saying that every once in a while, I do find a real gem.

This article written by J.C.Kendall the CEO of TekPersona on the importance of branding while using social media, not selling, and the nuances involved in the process is in my opinion a real gem. The article is smart and is simply a great piece to read. J.C. does a great job, conveying his real world experience, so be sure to give it a read and share it with your audience. They will thank you for it.

You may have wasted massive amounts of money on advertising that had little to no chance of success. You may have spent years’ worth of efforts on attracting an irresponsive audience on Social Media platforms, for no measurable financial return.
