You never get a do-over for a first impression. How another person see’s another within the first 10 to 30 seconds of meeting you stays with them forever. I don’t need to rehash studies that are easily found on the internet, but what should be understood from them, is that a negative first impression is almost 3 times as likely to occur over a positive one. This a large number of people who don’t realize the implications of what may be perceived as insignificant. Unfortunate as it may be, we live in a discretionary world and a very competitive one. That means, if you’ve said to yourself “They’ll never notice.” Think again!
