Online yesterday, President Obama spoke in favor of a constitutional amendment to overturn the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decisions, which legalized super PACs and undermined our democracy.

This is an exciting moment.

It represents a new chapter in the movement to get big money out of politics. Passing a Constitutional Amendment to overturn Citizens United will require a nation-wide mobilization effort that bridges party lines. Show Obama that we support his statement, and urge him to make money in politics a central part of the campaign debate.

There are many paths that our nation could take when it comes to passing a constitutional amendement, and they all require millions of people to get behind this issue. Given the gridlock in Washington, We the People cannot simply rely on our elected officials to move this an amendment forward. We must force the issue.

And don’t forget to pass the message on!
