Usually when I do a post about “updates,” it involves either Facebook or Twitter.
And then it involves a lot of eye-rolling.
But lately, my update posts have focused on an unlikely source: LinkedIn. Yes, good old reliable, stable, un-razzmatazzed LinkedIn.
Over the last few weeks, the network where the social Web does business has been lighting up the feed with one super-smart move after another.
Just a few of the recent barnburners:
- Widespread rollout of the new LinkedIn Home Page
- The ability to “follow” thought leaders like Sir Richard Branson, Tony Robbins, and 150 others
- New layout for all Company Pages
- The ability to “pin” important updates to the top of your LinkedIn Company Page (Featured Updates)
As a devoted LinkedIn fangirl, I’m excited by the new energy the network is showing … and I can’t wait to see what’s next. How about you?
What are your thoughts on LinkedIn’s latest updates … and what do you think is next on the horizon?
Sure, the expertise you need to improve your business’ social media performance is “out there” … but who has time to dig for it?
Here at Resonance, we’re committed to your success in social media marketing, so each Friday we deliver a simple but impactful tip to boost your engagement on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social networks. And you can implement it before lunchtime.
