10 Companies That Totally Nailed Their Taglines
Share

Curator Tom George: I have been kicking around the idea for a while now. This is the notion that a phrase, or a few words can convey the innate meaning of what we as a company and online community do. It is called a Tagline.

In the business world the tagline is the premier calling card, if it is a great one your message will precede you. I remember a few good ones. How about “You have a friend in the business” or “Where do you want to go today”

As you will see in this beautiful article to follow there have been some very good Tag Lines, and these are 10 of the best.

I however do need a little inspiration. Our tagline is “Where Creativity and People Connect” And I like it, but I am not in love with it. I want to be in love with our company tagline for Internet Billboards.

Imagine what that feels like. Perhaps someone somewhere was involved with this brainstorming process in some agency for Nike. Things got a little heated and someone shouted out “Just Do It” maybe referring to getting the job done, you know of selecting the tagline and then someone shouted back, Oh my God That is it. “Just do it” You just nailed it!

Can I get a little help, perhaps bribe you even. I need some help coming up with our tagline. Can we do better than “Where creativity and people connect? I think we can do better. So what’s the story? And one thing for sure enjoy this article on Taglines. Perhaps it will inspire you to nail your own.
