Google’s World Wonders Project breathes new virtual life into historical sites

Google is solidifying its reputation as the go-to source for Internet users around the world. The company launched on Thursday the World Wonders Project, an offshoot of its Cultural Institute.

 

The World Wonders Project offers virtual and interactive tours of 132 ancient and cultural sites located in 18 countries, including Stonehenge, Pompeii, Shark Bay (Australia), and Yosemite National Park.
