Alec Baldwin has deactivated his Twitter account in the wake of a Tuesday meltdown on an American Airlines flight—which
was reportedly related to his playing of Words With Friends.The @alecbaldwin Twitter account currently has no listed tweets, and it has been renamed Deactivated.The actor was removed from an AA flight in Los Angeles after a dispute over the use of his cell phone. Baldwin tweeted that he was chastised for playing Words With Friends while the plane was still at the gate, but AA said Baldwin refused to turn off his device and eventually locked himself in the bathroom, prompting the airline to boot him from the flight.”Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving. #nowonderamericaairisbankrupt,” Baldwin tweeted after being removed from the plane.
