Oracle buys RightNow for $1.5 billion

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Oracle Corp. ORCL +1.90% said on Monday that it is buying RightNow Technologies Inc. RNOW +19.30% , a cloud-based customer service firm, for $43 a share, or about $1.5 billion. Oracle said the deal will close late this year or early next year.
