K. Cameron Lau | Jul 01, 2011 | 1min:25sec Google+ Might Not be Able to Scare Facebook, Twitter Could be Crushed. With all the buzz surrounding the launch of Google Plus, expectations are high and the reviews have been good, but as the minutes tick by, some are wondering how this is all going to play out. Facebook currently has over half a billion active users, and when I say active users, I almost mean addicts. It’s for this reason that some are saying that it makes more sense for Google to set its crosshairs on Twitter primarily.

These are exciting times we are in with the rise of social media. This will undoubtedly go down in the history books as the age of social media, post information age. Well good for Google, and honestly it’s about time. So far I hear Google + is fairing well with good reviews. I have not had the pleasure of trying it yet, but anyone that has please feel free to give your feedback. I think it will just eventually come down to market share. When you have about all of the social media pie as Facebook does, eventually you are going to have to give up some, the question will be, how big will the slice be? What are your thought’s? Be sure to share them it matters.

Haven’t dipped my toe in yet, but from all the talk so far, it seems more like  Google+ = Facebook for LinkedIn crowd.

    • Me either Cassie although I am looking forward to trying out Google+, I think you have a good point, also some people have said that the new social media platform will create more of a threat to Twitter, in any event I think Google+ will grow to be very popular, not sure how popular, but it seems like a winner.
