Help for Blogophobes Part 2: Tumblr
Share

Written by : Rachel Parker| 0 | Social Media

Today we continue our “Help for Blogophobes” series with another useful tool called Tumblr. It’s a simplified blogging platform that’s similar to Posterous in many ways, but with a few key differences.

In the above video, I’ll show you how to:

  • Find Tumblr on the Web
  • Follow others on Tumblr
  • Use the “Reblog” feature to share others’ useful content (similar to the “Share” feature on Facebook)
  • Create your own post (like this one) quickly and easily

Like Posterous, Tumblr also offers apps for iPhone and Android (and Blackberry, too) that let you create content on the go. So if you’re, say, treating your clients to a bowling night, you can take pics on your mobile device and turn them into a blog post on the spot.

So, what do you think of Tumblr? Give it a spin and let us know what you think in the comments—we’d love to hear from you!
