“Cut the shit crap eating.” – Coach Gary Mahabir
I am proud to report new developments of my 100 Day Plus Size Workout Fitness Challenge! YAY. The above quote is from my new training coach, Coach Gary Mahabir. I’ve known Gary for over a decade. I admire and respect him as a friend and as a fitness and strength conditioning coach.
His physique is amazing but what really I admire about him is his relationship with his body and his philosophy about fitness and training.
I am hoping that his philosophy will rub off on me in the weeks to come.
About 5 days into my 100 Day Plus Size Workout Fitness Challenge I received a text from him wondering, “Hey Curvy Goddess, When am I going to start training you?”
The lightbulb went on. I knew that this was the next direction I was supposed to take along my 100 Day Plus Size Workout Fitness Challenge journey.
Today we visited the facility where he will be training me. We spoke with the owner, Wally Oldham of Titan Fitness and the place is gorgeous and new with the equipment we need to totally transform my mind AND body into one strong Curvy Goddess Warrior.
Afterward Gary and I sat down and mapped out certain expectations and goals on the continuation of my 100 Day Fitness Challenge.
He’d like to see me give up these certain superficial labels I have for myself. He wants to see me dig deep and tap into this inner strength that I have. And on occasion he has seen the strength radiate.
I start next week with him.
For right now it’ll be 3x/week and maybe we’ll step up with 4x/week.
Before that I continue to move my body every single day.
The golden nugget he gave me today was ==> I train no matter if I’m angry, sad, depressed, happy, feeling it or not feeling it. I train and that is the absolute.
With diet, he wants me to “cut the shit crap eating.” Yup his own words.
No bread and no sugar. Potatoes and rice are fine for now but stay away from refined processed foods.
Very very little dairy. I love my espresso shots with milk at Bourbon Coffee though.
I will be documenting via video on this 100 Day Plus Size Workout Fitness Challenge. I’m warning you right now about the crying, tantrums, and obscenities. You will likely see alot of that while I train.
Day 6 Plus Size Workout Fitness Activity:
– 30 min. of Stairmaster: Almost time to do something different. I’m getting bored.
Day 7 Plus Size Workout Fitness Activity:
– 15 min. Pilates Abs on DVD (Core Fusion)
