Recent reports were hyping the possible new “Google Circles” social networking site anticipated to be ready around May of this year. That doesn’t appear to be happening, but in a fast paced world of social media and Internet apps, you never really know until it either happens, or doesn’t.
The first reports of the Google Circle networking site earlier this week came in stating that it would debut this May at the Google I/O conference being held in San Francisco, CA. Another rumor suggested that it would be announced at the South by Southwest conference (which is all about apps and social networking websites) in Austin later this year.
Many users of social networking sites are very excited about the possibility of the Google networking site because of the rumors that the service would be more private, and that users would be able to filter what content is shown to which groups of family, friends, workers, random people, etc.
