Welcome to Internet Billboards, as always thank you for reading, or really perusing. On Internet Billboards, we like to write about some interesting things, on a few niche topics, like content, such as content strategy, content creation, and content marketing, inbound advertising, which is what we really do, (well one of) the things we do, mobile media, networking and of course social media. We really enjoy using our digital curators toolbox to pull out the right peice (no pun intended) to curate for you. Curators Notes– Barcelona Spain was a very nice place to have the event. There were some hot tablets and smart-phones with some unique capabilities. It seems the buzz was almost 50 50 between the two, but you decide for yourself, you know, whats hot and whats not.  Mashable is a leader in reporting on social media news and technology for a reason.

Curators notes– One thing about being a digital curator is to remain objective, like being a journalist, although I don’t pretend to know much about journalism, Facebook is constantly changing, growing, and evolving, and they have a quick tempo when they make moves in cyberspace. You can inadvertently see my overall enthusiasm about the whole thing here http://www.facebook.com/internetbillboards, but they are simply to big to ignore. Will you fan me? I need to constantly have positive affirmations and reinforcements from Facebook and all my friends there to realize my own self worth.

Forbes Talks About Why LinkedIn Is More Valuable Than Facebook.

Curators Notes – I think this a good read talks about time in apps as a measurement of Facebook success, but the CEO of LinkedIn suggests that getting more productivity from your company employees is the better measurement. I feel that eyeballs and app time are good to be on Facebook for a high ROI, but if you can get more productivity elsewhere perhaps on LinkedIn, it seems to be a compelling argument.

PC World Talks About How Twitter Crushes Facebook For Marketing

Curators Notes  – Just a quick short excerpt because maybe this says it all. Facebook makes up 78 percent of traffic among all social network sites and micro-blogging site Twitter accounts for 5 percent, but on average “tweets” with embedded links get 19 clicks while Facebook’s shared links only get three clicks, according to a study by SocialTwist.

 Curators Notes – Perhaps a little misguided but their hearts are in the right place. There is little doubt that social media Facebook and Twitter were instrumental in creating the ultimate whirlwind that finally toppled things over. The times are a changing. I believe all people should be free to persue their dreams without to much resistance.
